Environmental commitment at Cap d’Ail Google (Android 10)

In Cap d’Ail, we opt for a healthy and clean environment in order to preserve our natural spaces which have always been the strength of our municipality.

Cleanings of natural sites are regularly organized.

Our beaches are non-smoking

The city of Cap d’Ail has decided to set up two tobacco-free beaches. It is  forbidden to smoke on the beaches of Mala and Marquet. This measure makes it possible to eliminate pollution from cigarette butts, to preserve the coastline and to fight against passive smoking. Ashtrays are present at the entrances to the beaches.

Tri-Selective

What are the right things to do to keep your city clean? Why and how to sort? Nothing could be simpler, we explain how:

Sorting makes it possible to : give our waste a second life, preserve our natural resources and reduce incineration and landfill.

Collect batteries and caps love

Do you want to keep the eco-attitude even during your stay? Good news! The town hall places at your disposal in these premises, a container with caps * and batteries to give a second life to their uses.

The Port of Cap-d’Ail, a certified port “Clean Ports” and “Active ports in biodiversity”

Preserving aquatic environments, protecting the environment and acting in favor of sustainable development have always been at the heart of our concerns.

This is why the port of Cap-d’Ail is proud to have obtained in 2019:

– the renewal of the European Clean Ports certification, initially acquired in 2015, which rewards our commitment and our efforts;

– the new “Active Biodiversity Ports” certification underlining our commitment to preserving marine biodiversity.

Created at the initiative of UPACA (Union Provence-Alpes-Côte-D’azur and Monaco) *, the Clean Ports certification is not just a flag floating on the Harbor Master’s Office. This is a demanding process that requires real eco-responsible actions.
